Question   Comment: Stunning Photos
Thomas: I have been trolling through your galleries for a couple of hours and your photos are stunning. As a viewer, they are eye-popping! They draw you into the scenic, so much so, that you feel as though you were right there yourself enjoying the beauty of the landscape! The Connecticut icons are special and, because I am a lover of the northwest corner of the state, your particular shots of these areas are close to my heart. I enjoy them for two reasons. First, I have been to some of these locations and can attest to the fact that they are as gorgeous as your photos. Secondly, they have given me an incentive to go out and find these places to enjoy or to photograph myself. Again, thank you for the directions to two places which I intend to visit this fall. There is so much beauty on the back roads in Connecticut that many people are unaware of and your galleries are an invitation to explore!

Your photos exude energy and your passion for the NW corner of the state is apparent!

Question   Barn Shot
Hi Tom, having a passion for old barns, your shot of the barn with the red door really caught my eye. I recently had a hard cover photo book printed for myself on just barns. I've wanted to to this for years and I love the book. I jused SmileBooks.com in Germany, they do a wonderful job and the quality is excellent, the only problem I've found that is just too expensive to do them for sale as a 20 pg book runs about $30 ea. til you add a profit people just won't pay that for the book. At least I am thrilled that I have my own book.

- Kathy Radford 8/15/2010 2:29:36 PM

Answer Hi Kathy, thanks for the comment on my "Red Barn Door" image. Found that scene up in Dublin NH. I've been thinking about adding a nice photobook for my art show display to enhance sales. Working out ideas in my head how to format the concept.

Question   Bass Head Lighthouse image
I purchased this photograph in a large 16x24 print and LOVE IT! The colors are so beautiful, the detail in the foreground rocks is just incredible. I lived nearby in Belfast Maine for several years and have such a connection to Acadia and the Island. The picture is framed, and viewable in my foyer. Always get comments from friends that visit!
